On Friday night we celebrated Tony's life at a gathering in West Vail. By my count, and I'm sure I missed a few, there were at least 70 people there.
Given we had four days to contact friends and family, I am once again astounded by the number of people that Tony befriended and connected with.
Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with us. Tony would have been proud, as was I.
This will probably be my last post. Thanks to everyone who followed Tony's last days, and gave us love, friendship and support.
Sandie
Sandie, you've been wonderful throughout a very difficult few months. thank you for your courage, love, wit, strength and support for Tony and all his friends and followers. We have been able to feel close to Tony during his final weeks because of you.
ReplyDeleteWe wish you all the best in the future. I know you have grown and become a bigger person throughout all of Tony's trials. I admire your strength and courage. I hope you'll stay in touch with MacK and Shawn Fraser and I'll be able to stay in touch too.
Again, thank you, and God Speed to you.
Lots of love, MacKenzie's Momma, Lisa Strickland
Sandie, sorry for not knowing sooner what has transpired with Tony the last year. I am inspired still by his energy, enthusiasm, and blatant disregard for "playin it safe":) We had many a good chat at The BoardRoom, and got quite a few great days of riding in the last few years, as well as on the bike. Rest assured that his young spirit continues riding wherever he may be:)
